He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mary; his siblings, Ernest (late Jeanette), Millie Fasano (late Frank), Vito (late Mary), Micky and Lucy Donofrio (late Tony); and his nephews, Ernie Sessa (Bridget) and Dennis Donofrio.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Marilyn, Al Kwak, Nadine Pardieux (late John), Carol Zaborowski (late Ernie), Cherie, Larry Wysocki, Valerie Borelli (late Roland) and Joseph Sessa; and his close friend Nora DeVito.

Funeral: Salerno's Rosedale ChapelsFuneral Notes: Prayers and Final Viewing Saturday 9:00 a. m. During visiting hours, it is still recommended to follow the State of Illinois guidelines limiting gathering and guests should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.

“Knowing Willie all of my life, spending many holidays with him & my brother Jimmy ; I will always miss him. However. It was the daily interactions from Leavitt street to Oakley to later in life that I will miss! There was not a week in my life that I didn’t see him. He even visited me in college. Always positive & helpful; Willie is the last of a breed: those with character and kindness. He woke on Wednesday when I was at his home to visit him and was happy to see Spanky Boy. Willie had wise parting words for me. Rest dear Willie! You deserve it.”
