She was predeceased by: her husband John Mayerhofer, Sr.; her parents, Herman Tews and Adele Tews; and also Robert Sawisch. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Decker (Bill) and Michael Sawisch (Valerie); her stepchildren, John Mayerhofer, Jr. (Nina) and Judi Schreyer (Brett); her grandchildren, Lukas, Oliver Decker, Madison and Matthew Sawisch; her sister Linda Warder (Robert); her nieces and nephews, Aaron Warder (Malinda), Kimberly Warder, Kara Baza (Brandon) and Robby Warder; her great-nephew Logan; and her great-niece Mila.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle, IL 60172). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Irving Park Cemetery.
