We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Koptik of Roselle, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his mother Patricia Koptik. He is survived by : his father George Koptik; his wife Karina Danner Koptik; his children, Zachary, Katerina and Isabella; his brother Michael Koptik (Susan A. Garr); and his nieces and nephews, Gillian, Benjamin, Gertie and Scout.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle, IL 60172). A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (551 N Rush St, Itasca, IL 60143).
