He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy; his children, Katrina Meils (Jeff), Kathy Fox (Jeff), Patty Austin (Matt), Michael Holmbo (Antonette), Joseph Holmbo (Debi), Mike Johnston (Teri) and Kelly Johnston; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn Conner, Brock Conner (Mandi), Megan Austin, Luke Austin (Emily), Ben Austin (Carly Malacina), Zack Fox, Niki Stosur (Phil), Allison Fox, Michelle Burbach (Coty), Jeremy Holmbo, Autumn Markhardt (Richard), Winter Horn (Chris), Michael Johnston, Andrea Yager (Ryan) and Katie Beth Ramsbottom (Jake). He was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
