He was predeceased by: his father Norman Shimp; his stepfather John Campsmith; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Olson and Beverly Bush; and his sister Debra Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bush; his sons, Rick Shimp (Kari) of Machesney Park and Brian Shimp (Kelly) of Rockton; his grandchildren, Courtney, Samantha, Dylan and Emersyn Shimp; his mother Joyce Campsmith (Rose) of Largo, FL; his brothers, John Campsmith (Debbie) and Tedd Shimp (Morgan); his parents-in-law, Ben and Bettie Bush of Muskegon, MI; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Bush (Linda), David Bush (Becky) of Muskegon, MI, Roy Smith and Joe Olson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
