With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley A. Dewey of Roscoe, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on March 28, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin McLean and Helen McLean; her husband John Dewey; and her sisters, Helen George, Darlene Green, Katherine Scott and Audrey Curatolo.
She is survived by: her sister Doris Fisher; her nephew Dennis Dewey (Nancy); and her nieces, Jill Dewey of Roscoe, IL and Tricia Brass (Dennis) of Doylestown, PA. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
