She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Reid and Elsie Reid (Brunnenmeyer); her husband Walt Houck; her children, Wally Houck (Jill McBain) and Sallie Phoenix (Brad); her grandchildren, Jayne, John and Sarah Phoenix; and her siblings, Bill Freeberg (Jan), Bonnie Klamen, Marilyn Cibu, Jack Freeberg and Alice Vaile. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
