He was predeceased by: his parents, B. W. "Sandy" Sandberg and Zella Florene Sandberg. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sandberg; his children, Kim Smith (Tom) and Dana Gugliuzza (Louis, Jr.); his grandchildren, Drew and Addie; and his sisters, Patricia Sandberg, Dianne Trenery and Carol Burmeister. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
