He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shott and Helen Shott (Gough). He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Swedberg; his sons, Jay (Gloria), Jeffrey (Carol), John (Diana) and Daniel (Kara); his daughter-in-law Crystal; and his grandchildren, Joseph Shott, Jessica Megginson, Jarod Shott, Rachel Rossi, Jason Shott, Jackie Margiotta, Jeni Maijala, Samantha Crow and Joelle Shott. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
