She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harley Rothwell and Mildred Rothwell (Strom); her husband Arvid Dale Nelson; her son Brandon Nelson; her great grandchild Grace Evans; her children, Steven Nelson (Garnet), Lori McGirk (David), Sherri Nelson, Denise Rivera (Robert), Shawn Nelson (Angela) and Garrett Nelson (Meghan); her grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Thomas Nelson, Zachary Nelson, Jordan McGirk (Linda), Megan Evans (Scott), Tessa Bressler (Daniel), Dale McGirk (Casandra), Ashley Nelson, Ryan Rivera, Devin Rivera (Erin), Dylan Rivera, Holly Bjorge (Amber), Marcus Zeller (Carlee), Rachel Mednansky (Michael), Claire Nelson and Andrew Nelson; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Malacai, Mariah, Madeline, Yuliana, Edwin, Mackenzie, Charlotte, Sienna, Sebastian and Hadley; and her brothers, John Rothwell and Thomas Rothwell (Sandy). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Kishwaukee Cemetery Operating Fund.
