She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Swanborg (Voy); and her sister Patsy Winsel. She is survived by: her father James D. Swanborg; her husband Edmond Mertzenich; her sons, Douglas Mertzenich and Andrew Mertzenich (Cody Skaggs); and her brother James Swanborg, Jr. (Jacqueline). She is also survived by several cousins, and a few pets.
