He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Anderson and Ellen Anderson; his son Richard; and his grandson Landon. He is survived by: his wife Felice Anderson (Montemarano); and his children, Leonard Anderson Jr., Robert Anderson (Suzann) and Dr. Susan Anderson-Granzeier (Greg Granzeier). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.
