He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barr and Ruby Barr (Hutmacher); his wife Karen McGrew; his son Kenneth Barr; and his brothers, Leroy and Leslie.
He is survived by: his children, William Barr (Jennie) and Kellie Benavides (Roel); his grandchildren, Larry, Alex, Zachary, Preston, Teeah, Michael, Taylor, Ethan, Benjamin, Xavier, Amelia and Isabel; his great grandchildren, Dwayne, Natane, Jaxon, Evelyn, Anika, Eleanor, Melanie, River, Raelynn, Addilynn, Carter, Kallen and Avarie; and his siblings, Margie Rigney (Harlan), Carol Foutch (John), Lynn Barr (Pat), Betty Rabe (Clifford) and Landis Barr (Darlene).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry's name to Northern Illinois Hospice.
