He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane (Varner) and Richard H. Ruge; and his father-in-law George Edward Weyant. He is survived by: his children, Chris Ruge (Emily) and Shelli Worgess (Caleb); his brother Rick Ruge (Peggy); his mother-in-law Evelyn Weyant; his sister-in-law Kerry Villarreal (Rich); and his nieces, Jennifer, Janelle Ruge and Marissa Villarreal-Smith (Connor).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Helping Hands ministry at Hope Church – a ministry that trains disciples in worshipping God through serving other's physical needs which Ken helped organize and coordinated until he passed.
