She is survived by: her aunt Golden Girl; her pet Fifi; her grandson Joseph Connar Powers; her son-in-law Kurt Smith; her sister Jacqueline "Jackie" McGonigal; her brother-in-law David York; her children, Melissa Smith of Roscoe, IL, Jennifer (Ken), Jim (Angela), Powers of Bradenton, FL, Heather (Tyler) and Pearson of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, Casey (Jeremy), Aaron (Katelyn), Andrew (Natalie), Justin (Danielle Bada), Nathan (Trisha Farner), Chloe (Kyle Weiher), Powers of Kenosha, WI and Corbin Pearson of Rockford, IL; her great grandchildren, Ashley Try (Jas Bilich), Jesse Try, Parker Smith, Reid Smith, Milo Jaeger and Jack Jaeger; her great great grandchild Jasper Bilich; and her siblings, Roger Showers of Rockton, IL, Stan (Mary), Wendy Ellingson (Bill) of Poplar Grove, IL, Mary York of Champaign, IL and Connie Hazer (Bill) of Loves Park, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
