James Vickery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Vickery of Roscoe, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vickery and Florence "Corky" Vickery (Korth); and his son Danny. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Vickery of Roscoe; his children, Jim Vickery, Jr. (Doreen) of Jacksonville, FL, Mike Vickery (Patti) of Machesney Park, IL, Melanie Anderson of Rockford, IL, Sarah Devine (Rod) of Rockton, IL and Amanda Papacek (Tim) of Heyworth, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Armstrong of Gary Armstrong, II, Brianna Crowley, Christopher Sisco, Evan, Jack, Mae Anderson, Megan, Brittany Devine, Logan, Sam, Natalie Praneis and Clara Papacek; his great grandchildren, Jazlynne, Elliot Armstrong, Oliver Scalf, Owen and Cameron Crowley; and his brother Jerry Vickery (Marcia).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mercyhealth Hospice, St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Roscoe United Methodist Church.
