He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ambruoso and Marie Ambruoso (Sciacca); his sister Lisa Gillespie; and his granddaughter Neala Frye. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ambruoso; his children, James Ambruoso Jr., Christina James (Travis) and Tonya Frye (John); his grandchildren, Ashley Grover (Colin), Adam Steward, Brianna Ambruoso, Trevor Frye and Lilly Ambruoso; and his siblings, Carl Ambruoso (Steve Wells) and Laura Callaway.
