We bid farewell to Gregorio DeLeon of Roscoe, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2024 at the age of 102. Gregorio touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Petronilo DeLeon and Juanita Martinez-DeLeon; his wife Feliciana Salinas DeLeon; and his great grandchild Thalia Arrendondo. He is survived by: his children, Anna, Greg, Oscar, Rebecca, Norma, Elsa and Mario; and his pet Paloma. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 60 great- grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
