Downer of Roscoe, Illinois, born in York, Nebraska, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Downer and Lenore Downer (Liggett); his former wife Heidi M. Wagner; and his siblings, Dick, Tom and Susan.
He is survived by: his fiancée Irene Jessen; his son Jason Downer (Dawn); his grandchildren, Ariana, Payton, Dalton, Austin, Sydney and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Grayson and Alice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A visitation, following COVID 19 guidelines of social distancing and mask wearing, will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL, Monday, December 21, 2020 from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. A funeral ceremony to be held at 1:30 p. m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel with Reverend Rolland Hayag officiating.
