He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hastings and Cleta Hastings (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Thelma Hinkle; and his children, Sherry Cox (Jim), Bob Hastings Jr. (Barb), Jesse Hastings (Laura), Randy Hastings (Brenda), John Hastings (Mary), Rich Hastings (Becky) and Doug Hastings.
