She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Swedberg and Olin Swedberg (VanMeter); her brother Roger Swedberg; her husband Richard A. Shott; and her son William.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay (Gloria), Jeffrey (Carol), John (Diana) and Daniel (Kara); her grandchildren, Joseph Shott, Jessica Megginson, Jarod Shott, Rachel Shott, Jason Shott, Jackie Margiotta, Jeni Maijala, Taylor, Alexandra and Joelle Shott; and also Crystal. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Camp Nicolet Scholarship Fund in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main, Genoa, IL. 60135 or OSF Hospice, 5501 E. State St., Rockford.
