He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Dawdy and Arlene Crain Dawdy. He is survived by: his significant other Kellie Steele; his children, Stacy Schutz (Chad) of Roodhouse and Matthew Dawdy of White Hall; his granddaughters, Madalana, Bridget Schutz, Monica Martinez and Sophia Dawdy; his children, Aleisha Raschig (John), Shannon Irwin (Brandon), Justin Steele (Laura) and Chad Steele (Jacqueline); his granddaughters, Lucy Raschig and Sawyer Steele; and his brothers, Ron Todd of Roodhouse and Troy Dawdy (Carla) of Hillsboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the North Greene Athletic Fund or Pine Tree Cemetery.
