He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Carter; and his parents, Hoover Carter and Edna Earl Carter. He is survived by: his children, Richard Carter, Ronald Carter (Karen), Jason Carter (Melissa) and Jamie Izydorek (Ryan); his siblings, David Carter and Colotta Carter; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Samuel, Kimberlie, Caden, Brooke and Anna; his sister-in-law Cindy Carter (late Curtis); and his mother-in-law Patricia Babica. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
