Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Joseph and Angeline Dudek; his sister Theresa (John Schneider); and his niece Suzy Stoneburner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Dudek; his children, Stephen Dudek (Mary), Michael Dudek (Jacqueline), Timothy Dudek and Kathryn O'Leary (Adam); his grandson Stephen Dudek Jr.; and his siblings, Patricia Mauk (William) and John Dudek (Kathleen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Church (15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544).
