The passing of Ruby Lee (Romeoville, Illinois) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Linda Melnyczuk (Dave Barrett); her husband Frank D. Lee; her parents, Lawrence Campos and Irene Campos; and her siblings, Yolanda Dorado and Lawrence Campos.
She is survived by: her close friend Jim Piechowiak; her children, Karen Benik (Michael) and Brett Lee (Joanne); her grandchildren, Natalie Benik (Scott Brockman), Cynthia Benik, Frank Benik, Brett Lee, Brandon Lee and Austin Lee; and her siblings, Laurie Hernandez (late David), Arthur Campos (Mary Ann) and Phillip Campos (Jean). She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, also survived by partner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
