He was predeceased by: his former wife Melba Cope; his parents, Benjamin Cope and Marguerite Cope; and his siblings, Benjamin Cope (Myra) and Elaine Babcock (Don).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Cope; his children, Ronald Cope (Deborah), Edward Cope (Trudy) and Sharon Angel (Brian); and his grandchildren, Ronald Cope, Kathleen Vaughn (Christopher), Edward Cope, Thomas Cope, Kelly Cope and Christopher Angel.
