He was predeceased by: his parents, Astrid Maria Margareta Hylander and Alwyn Sharpe; his stepparents, Bion Jones and Florence Walper Emminger; and his former wife Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Morowczynski; his children, John and Megan Owens (Chip); his granddaughters, Emma and Alexandra; his stepbrother Ken Walper (Sue); and his sister-in-law Maryann Walper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dennis Church (1214 Hamilton St, Lockport, IL 60441). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
