He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Whitlock; his daughter Deborah Jurcak (Anthony); his siblings, William Whitlock (Joanne) and Betty Jane Gleeson (late John); and his parents, Walter Busse and Verna Busse.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery D. Whitlock and Laurie Whitlock (Mary); his grandchildren, Ryan (Carissa), Bradley and Leslie (Alex); his great grandchildren, Savannah and Julian; and his caregivers, Carissa, Amanda, Nichole and Katie.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Chapel & Heartland Cremation Services (606 Town Hall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Anderson Memorial Chapel Inc & Heartland Cremation Services (606 Town Hall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
