He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Braasch and Marjorie Braasch (Kirman); his wife Rosalie Zolecki; his brother Donnie; and his brothers-in-law, Andy, Leonard Zolecki, Ignatius Twardzik (Iggy) and Harry Jungles.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Jr. Braasch (Rebecca), Barbara McCammond (Steven), Charles Braasch (Christine) and Michael Braasch; his grandchildren, Kevin (Grecia), Jenna, Taylor and Ryan Braasch; and his great grandchild Ivan Alex Braasch. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
