She was predeceased by: her daughter Martha Peterek; her parents, Martha Duffin and John Duffin; her grandmother Agnes Anglin Spotts; her brother Philip Duffin, Sr.; her cousins, Ray Guinto, Sr. and Donna Wisemantle (Guinto); her parents-in-law, Ernie and Marie Peterek; her sister-in-law Betty Peterek; and her close friend Barb Veleker.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Peterek; her daughter Tricia Peterek; her siblings, Tom Duffin (Sherry) and Pat Gibson (Irv); and her siblings-in-law, Janet Duffin, Barb Peterek and Ernie Peterek. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson-Goodale Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
