He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack (late Lucille) and Charles McGuire (late Elaine); and his parents, John Ballay and Clara Ballay. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ballay; his children, Amanda Chaffin (Robert) and Matthew Ballay; his grandchildren, John (Emily), Nikolas (Lindsey), Matthew (Ellie), Gina and Cheyanne; his daughter-in-law Brandy Ballay; his great grandchildren, Aaron and Allison; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carlie, Raymond, Liliana, Isabella, Justin and Joshua; his siblings, James (late Barbara) and Thomas Meek (late Lenore); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph, Mary Ann, Thomas (late Mary Elizabeth), Bernadette and Nancy (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
