We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 71, John H. Sergeant Jr. of Romeoville, Illinois passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sergeant and Doris "Dodee" Sergeant (Brusatori); and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Prokopec); his sons, John (Emily) and Jason (Becca); his grandchildren, Jack, Matthew, Mary Mae, Penney and Lio; his aunt Bonnie Knutson; his sisters, Deb Fleming (Ed) and Patti Braglia (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, J. J., Chris, Lance, Michael, Amanda, Brianna and Christine. He is also survived by two grand-nephews and four grand-nieces; many more relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Chapel & Heartland Cremation Services (606 Town Hall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
