He was predeceased by: his wife Iluminada Laplana; and his parent Venancio Laplana (Angela). He is survived by: his children, Oliver Laplana (Gina) and Margarita Flores (Anel); his siblings, Lolita Alinain, Jovito Laplana (Marlin) and Antonio Laplana (Violeta); and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Angela, Patrick, Christy and Oliver Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
