As Gregory L. departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gregory L. may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gregory L. leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Buciak and Mary Ann Buciak; his siblings, Donald R. Buciak of Romeoville and Kathleen Drust (Gary) of Tinley Park, IL; his niece Kristina Sukevicius (Al) of New Lenox, IL; and his nephew Daniel Drust of Tinley Park, IL.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Community (2003 Hassert Blvd, Naperville, IL 60564). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).
