He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine Filla; his children, Lynn Filla-Clark (late Glenn), Karen Szafranski (Alan), Mark Filla (Terri) and Ann Burkiewicz (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alex, Erin, Emilie, Mollie (Ted), Tom Jen (Kelsey), Samantha, Matthew Wendy (Carly), Katie and Michael; his great grandchildren, Avalyn, Russell, Reed and Raina; and his brother Ed Filla (late Irene). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Chapel & Heartland Cremation Services (606 Town Hall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Memorial Chapel (606 Town Hall Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446).
