Danny P. Lorentzen Obituary

On Thursday December 14, 2017, Home Depot, Lowes, & Menard's stock prices plummeted on the news of Danny Lorentzen's passing. Chief Executive Officers at these home improvement centers called an emergency meeting to brace for the impact of the huge decline in sales they were about to face with the loss of their #1 customer. Over 20 years of construction experience Danny was known for his array of tools and wealth of knowledge; of both he freely shared and all were grateful to receive.

Everyone who came into contact with Dan immediately took to his quick-witted humor, easy-going personality and his great big heart (literally). His doctor said that he had a larger than normal sized heart and Danny would jokingly brag about this fact; while we all knew that huge heart of his was why everyone loved him so.

Every day he helped lend a hand or give a kind word to someone because he believed what you put out into this world comes back to you and he wanted to surround himself with good positive energy.

Danny worked hard and led a simple life and his favorite pastime enjoyments were a good steak, Jack ‘n coke, riding on his Harley, evaluating centerfolds, watching movies and being surrounded by family and friends with love and laughter, but his biggest pride and joy in life was his son Danny Lorentzen II.

It is unfortunate for all of us that Danny decided to take the ultimate job presented by the “Big Boss” too early in his earthly life. He will be greatly missed by all family, friends and numerous “brothers”! There is a huge void here now and life will never be the same as we know it; we will need to hold onto one another, share our “Danny Stories” and know that one day we will be reunited with our beloved Danny!

WE ALL LOVE YOU DANNY…(this one’s for you…toasting with a shot of Jack!)

“Danny was not only our sweet, caring nephew, but also a wonderful dad, husband, uncle, son, brother, cousin, and a great friend to all he met. What a funny, easy-going, compassionate, and loving person he was as well as an extremely talented carpenter, repairman, etc. etc. etc. He was a hard worker, always busy with several projects, but yet made time for family & friends. We Love You and will miss you Danny, but you will forever be in our hearts, prayers, and memories! Rest in God's Perfect Peace, sweet Danny! Love, Uncle Chris & Aunt Teri”
