He is survived by: his parents, Karl William and Cleo Hawkins; his children, Robert L. Hawkins Jr. (Cookie), Susan Jane Hawkins-Miller and James Carl Hawkins; his grandchildren, Shawn Robert Hawkins, Jamie Ellen Skime (William), Katherine Kristina Abbott (Scott), Shannon Jayne Miller and Kellian Caitlin Miller-Frost (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Gavin Thoreau Abbott, Avelyn Nokomis Abbott, Hudson Michael Frost and Tanner Reid Frost.
