He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Mecozzi (Chapman); and his grandparents, Nazareno, Margarena Mecozzi, Virgil and Eileen Chapman.

He is survived by: his siblings, Marsha Schultz (Michael) and Tom Mecozzi (Leslie); his niece Jessica Doebler (Tim); and his nephews, Matthew Schultz, Charles Mecozzi and Henry Mecozzi.
