He was predeceased by: his son Billy Wayne Amburgey; his parents, Albert Amburgey and Sally Amburgey; and his brother Kermit Amburgey (Beatrice). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Amburgey; his daughters, Sheila Huerta (Adalberto), Michelle Pilliroog (Kevin) and Jennifer Amburgey (Cody Squyres); his grandchildren, Scott, Jaime and Juliana; his great grandchildren, Julian, Miliana and Jordon; and his siblings, Nannie Prater (Sammy), James Amburgey (Dorothy), Mary Amburgey Campbell, Noreen Hall (Dean), Annalee Honeycutt (Knova), Joyce King (Hauley), Eston Amburgey (Norene) and Agnel Amburgey (AnnaBea).
