He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knapp and Viola Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Missy" Hoover; his brother James Calvin; his children, Tim, Christy, Cortnie Winkler (Austin Bush), Candis and Tony Fricke (Brandi); his grandchildren, Samantha Fricke (John Gonzales) and TJ Knapp of James Shaw, III.; and his great grandchild Westin Bush.
