It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance J Barrie (Rockton, Illinois), born in Tracy, Minnesota, who passed away on May 12, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Meddie Barrie and Jean Barrie (VanDromme); his brother Bruce Barrie; and his brother-in-law Ralph Benthein. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Mike Barrie (Jenny) and Wendy Hensley (John); his grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Mason and Gage; his siblings, Lee Barrie (Francine) and Lynn Peterson (Dave); his siblings-in-law, Diana Benthein, Lynne Geuzendam (John) and David Harms (Kathleen); and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Manzke, Jerome Downey, Krista Jardeen, Brad Barrie, Renee Downey, Dan Harms, Mary Walsh, Thomas Harms and Kalynn Geuzendam.
