Armato Sr. of Rockton, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alex Armato and Mary L Pumilia; his siblings, Mary Leon (Mike) and William Wallis Jr. A; and his caregiver Ngozi Ezeani, RN.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Peak; his sons, Samuel J Armato Jr. and Michael Armato (Theresa); his grandchildren, Jessica Armato (Josh Frazier), Hailee Armato (Brian Banister), Miranda Armato (Ethan Gentry) and Benjamin Armato (Journey Quast); his great grandchild Makenzie Frazier; his brothers, Albert and Charles Wallis (Cathy); his pets, Nina, Hazel and Velvet; and his aunt Theresa Torchia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, Sam was passionate about many charities and memorials will be distributed accordingly.
