He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Stearns and Nathalie Stearns (Goetzman); his wife Bonnie Lange; and his sons, Rick and Steve Stearns.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Stearns (Darla); his grandsons, Devin and Colin Stearns (Missy); and his great grandchild Olivia Stearns.
