He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Phillips and Dorothy Phillips (Lovelace); and his stepbrother Robert Mulvain. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Phillips of Rockton, IL; his children, Kim Phillips (Bob Messenger) of Beloit, WI and Elton Phillips (Mary Lynn) of Beloit, WI; his granddaughter Heather Phillips; and his great grandchild Ella Grace Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to First Baptist Church, Beloit.
