Neil J. Linssen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2021, at the age of 93, Neil J. Linssen of Rockton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Linssen and Elizabeth Linssen (O'Neil); his daughter Mary Hughes; his grandchildren, Suzzanne Luther and Donald Dosier; and his brother Peter Linssen.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Quick; his children, Kathy Luther (John), Mona Lilly (Rick) and Michael Linssen; his grandchildren, Sarah Sitton, Elizabeth Hardy, Anna Mullvain, Jeanette Luther, Jonathan Luther, Zachary Linssen, Cameron Linssen, Jennifer Canfield Duffy and Daniel Lilly; and his close friend Gerry Dvorak Reid. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Rockford or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
