Lyle Covert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Covert of Rockton, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Covert and Cora Covert (Shipe); and his siblings, Harry Jr., Walter, Calvin, Kenneth and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Nilene Covert (Burkum); his children, Jill Covert of Davis, CA and Todd Covert (Kelly) of Lindenhurst, IL; and his grandchildren, Isabelle, Grace and Cole Covert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a private family service at Christ Lutheran Church, 425 Riverside Rd., Belvidere, IL on September 26, 2020.
