We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 92, LaVeda Stout (Rockton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herdie Pate and Helen Pate; her husbands, John Swenson and Harold Stout; her children, Judith Swenson, Herdie and Danny; and her siblings, Frances Sorce, Jack Pate, Jerry Pate and Tom Pate.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Puckett (Bill), Allan Swenson (Stacy) and Ron Swenson; her grandchildren, Shara Meade (Mike), Ryan Swenson (Amala), Nikki Moffitt (Jason), John Swenson, Samantha Korotasz (Joey) and Adam Puckett (Annissa); and her great grandchildren, Britain, Trinity and Henrik. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and 2 cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
