It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Danekas (Rockton, Illinois), born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Fred Block. She is survived by: her mother Helen Block (Ohms); her husband Steve Danekas of Rockton; her children, Andrew Schmitt (Sherti) of Rockfalls, Megan Catalanotto (David) of Roscoe, Ashley Danekas of Burlington, IA, Zachary (Ben) and Nicholas Danekas of Machesney Park; and her siblings, John Block (Debbie), Jeff Block and Julie Pyle (Steve). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used in Karen's name at a later date.
