Winterhalter (Rockton, Illinois), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Winterhalter and Dorothy Winterhalter (Borst); his former wife Phoebe; and his sons, Michael and Jeffrey.

He is survived by: his spouses, Loretta Lazzaro and Lory; his children, David Winterhalter (Jan), Sharon Mahoney (Ralph), Dirk Wickens, Paul Winterhalter (Susan), John Winterhalter and Betsy Berkman (Tony); his grandchildren, Matt Winterhalter (Melissa), Lucas Winterhalter, Jennifer Beightley (Kris Fador), Rachel Moore (Adam), Holly Bolhm (Mike), Nicholas Winterhalter, Rylee Berkman, Tara Wydra, Carl Wydra and Shane Muto (Veronica); and his great grandchildren, Ryan Winterhalter, Tyler Winterhalter, Addison Moore and Oliver Muto.
