He was predeceased by: his father Bill Martin; and his grandparents, Stan, Donna Christiansen, Bill and Connie Martin.
He is survived by: his mother Shelia; his children, Shelby, Harper, Nolan and Sam; his siblings, Darcey (Jim Flynn) and Tyler; his niece Kaitlyn Flynn; and his nephew Andrew Flynn.
A visitation, following Covid-19 requirements of social distancing and wearing of face masks, will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, IL.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been set up in Eric's name for his children Shelby, Nolan, Sam and Harper.
